Isle Of Mull Steam Train Railway
Mull Steam
Mull Steam Train Rail was born out of the need to convey visitors the one and a quarter miles from Craignure Pier to Torosay Castle. To meet this objective a band of undaunted volunteers and rail enthusiasts constructed the railway through rock and bog so creating one of the most unique tourist experiences in the Inner Hebrides. Here then, in celebration of over 20 years of operation, is the story of how the railway was built and how, with growing visitor numbers, it continues to provide this vital role today.
